mankind after Adam and Eve disobeyed God. You reject Jesus, who is true God and true man.
Jesus said to His disciples: “He who hears you hears me, and he who rejects you rejects me, and he who rejects me rejects him who sent me.” Luke 10:16
and when Moses went up Mount Sinai and Our Lord gave him the 10 Commandments, the Jews were making golden calves to worship false Gods, despite the fact that the true God had just delivered them from slavery. In disgust, Moses threw down the stone tablets on which the 10 Commandments were written, breaking them.
but he called upon God for mercy on His people, and Our Lord did not reject them forever.
He gave Noah a covenant before that, which they also broke. and He gave King David another covenant, which they also broke... and He gave a new covenant via His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, sealed in His blood... and the Jews again rejected and broke that covenant.
They were in a broken covenant when they started their abuse of the Palestinians.
Edit: corrected the 1st sentence by using 'mankind' rather than 'the Jews' when Our Lord first promised the Messiah to save mankind from the original sin committed by Adam and Eve. (tip of the hat to sarasotatiger for pointing out the error).
