if you assume the story that he was born outside of the US to an American citicen mother and a non-citizen father, he would not be a citizen becuase his mother had to be physically present in the United States or its outlying possessions prior to the child's birth for 10 years, at least 5 of which were after the age of 14. That "physical presence" requirement remained in place until 1978.
Doing the math... IF Obama was born in Kenya to his (then) 19 year old mother, his mother could not have met the 5 years of physical presence in the US for 5 years after the age of 14.
