while the classes they create stay on the hamster wheel and no real change happens. They reject Marxist universal emancipation because that ends their power.
Marx’s greatest failure wasn’t his ideology of universal emancipation or critique of the problems of capitalism. It was underestimating the sociopathy of those in power, whether the establishment or the revolutionaries who gained power overthrowing the establishment.
Progressives are very authoritarian. They throw crumbs to the people, enough to keep them under their thumb with promises for more,
but with an external enemy (conservatives) to unite against so the people don’t see how they are oppressed by the Progressives.
