Revenue did not increase. We were still in an economic upward trend after the Housing crises. Jobs were still being created but revenue didn't Revenue went up for a short period because of job growth but it was still way below projections and still are. Do some research it was very expensive tax cuts and did not produce the revenue that it wanted. Revenues were extremely low.
