time such numbers were released, and noncompliance numbers include full taxes paid late with penalties paid. IRS employees are held to a much higher standard than the public at large. And yes, depending on circumstances, accidentally noncompliant employees are given a chance to get compliant with a reprimand. Willful noncompliance is punished with termination and the possibility of prosecution.
