Thinking like MIZ (cheap), which coach is the better value?

Mizzou won't spend the money for a proven D1 coach like many fans want. Coach Gates and Coach Mc are neither one in the top echelon of D1 coaches, Gates because he hasn't proven himself as a D1 coach and Mc because he's been a DII championship coach. So, I don't know what IA paid Mc but I bet it's not top dollar for D1 coaches. And let's assume IA paid Mc equal money to Gates. With salaries equal, which school has the better value for a MBB coach?
