They do not want coal, natural gas, or nuclear power.
So they have stopped building those energy sources, yet it's still bitter cold in new england. Instead of changing, they feel good about themselves by buying it from canada who burns they coal, natural gas to make that power.
California does the same dumb thing, buying 25% of their power from nevada and utah.
