contender in 2013 when it played Auburn in Atlanta for a spot in the national title game (a de facto national semifinal game).

And 11-2 Mizzou would have reached the 12-team playoff last season, and was praised by our SEC brethren for repping the SEC with a win over Top-10 Ohio State in an NY6 bowl.
