The SEC will not tolerate *better teams* being left out due to conference cannibalization.

There are solutions.

(1) Giving the SEC 6 automatic bids.

(2) Switching to computer models for ranking & selection.

(3) Decreasing the number of conference games from 8 to 6.

(4) The SEC breaking away from the CFP entirely.
