Will be a 4 seed in the playoffs and will be seeded ahead of 3 of Alabama, Georgia, Texas, and Ole Miss.
They will also be seeded ahead of Oregon or Ohio St, or actually both if Indiana wins out.
This collection of teams has multiple losses to ku and Texas Tech and has lost to Nebraska.
How long is the current playoff format and seeding signed on for? Guessing there will be a lot of changes with the format of the seeds and byes in the future.
IMO, just rank the teams 1-12. Forget the auto bids. There are not enough playoff spots to waste them on auto bids. Expand to 16 and we can talk.
