what was thoroughly reported at the time is in fact true. The bill was thoroughly negotiated, bipartisan and hailed by border experts and the BORDER PATROL as what was needed.
Then Trump called from Mar A Lago and killed it and because what he says goes all of the scared GOP caved like they always do with asses high in the air.

Your boy Trump doesn't give a **** about the border, never has and never will. This is only further proof. He says it's chaos down there, a bipartisan solution was offered as a path to a law to resolve and he decided it would hurt his chances for reelection so he chose himself over resolution.
