and he negotiated that thing to the wire with Chris Murphy for months. The Border Patrol liked it and so did border experts. It was considered anything but a soft border bill.

It was reported at the time that Trump killed the bill solely as an election chip because that was the truth.

End of story. You can crop dust it all you want but those are the facts.
