The trademark includes color. Mizzou uses “black and gold” and doesn’t use “maize and blue”. Just another reason why Mizzou should return to our traditional old gold and stop using yellow. Michigan first applied for trademark protection of the block M in 1982.

I wonder why Michigan has never sued Mizzou for trademark infringement?
