One of THE primary drivers to the US over-reaching on our "responsibilities" here is the military industrial complex and its insatiable and immoral appetite for more, more, more. You COULD live in a nation with the best healthcare system and education and transportation systems on earth, but you don't because of our arms industry and its hold over politics.
