...that Putin is out to conquer Europe. They understand why he did what he did in Ukraine. They understand the game that has been played. The USA championed expansion of NATO to the doorstep of Russia after the USSR collapse; the USA can continue to pay the lion's share as they have been doing ever since. That was the tacit agreement.
