target. The infrastructure to build battery plants for EVs rely on coal fired power plants. Not to mention the waste of spent batteries that we haven't even started to see the worst of it yet.

EVs are being produced at those numbers now for the sole reason of government subsidies. Without that, it's not happening. It's not sustainable at this point, so pushing forward come hell or high water seems bizarre.
