It takes an overwhelming amount of talent to overcome game time experience in D-I football. Even a future NFL player and 5-star recruit Logan Reichert is not starting, and he's by far the most physically-imposing player on our roster. He looks like an NFL lineman watching from the sidelines.
Horn is a 4-star recruit with great potential. I think he is on schedule to come up through the system and be the starting QB for two seasons. How many SEC QBs can say that?
But he's not Trevor Lawrence or Chase Daniel. It is not a fair expectation to throw him in as a starter outside of Faurot Field and expect him to run the offense like Cook is able to do.
