On the one hand, we need Cook healthy for LSU. But on the other hand, a lot of the air will go out of the balloon if Mizzou drops a game to Memphis or Vandy.
Horn is a 4 star recruit with hardly any experience at the college level. It was not a fluke that they had him handing the ball off on almost all of his plays in the first game. It is not a negative assessment of his potential whatsoever...he's not the 2nd coming of Trevor Lawrence or Chase Daniel. He's going to need a lot more experience before he's able to fully take the reins of this offense.
If we don't have Cook Saturday, it is going to be up to our offensive line to win this game. The Memphis run defense is poor. Schrader and Peat are not afraid of contact. This may have to be a 4-yards-and-a-cloud-of-dust type of game for us. Hog the time of possession, avoid turnovers, and get stops on defense.
