both tcu and k-state would have been in the cfp if twelve teams last year. texas hasn't won a b12 in over a decade. ou was 3-6 in b12 play last year. second place tcu beat b10 champion michigan in the cfp. and the b12 championship game was the most 'tuned in' championship game of the day.

all of which doesn't mean squat about leadership and going forward. the b12 is not going to catch the sec and b10 media deals. what it will do is carve out a slot as the third best conference until the p12 and acc collapse. then, we'll have three mega conferences.
