The midwestern and Texas schools that comprise the B12 actually care about football still and in a pretty big way (w/maybe the exception of KU). But the Pac-12 schools don't really see it as a priority with the exception of maybe Oregon and Utah. With USC and UCLA gone, it seems to make perfect sense. I would not be surprised to see a couple more PAC10 teams follow.
