to commit to the PAC (e.g. sign a GoR) so the league can sell its media rights at a higher price... maybe it's posturing, maybe CU is serious.

If they are, it's exactly what the B1G wanted... they were hoping for the PAC to collapse and UO/UW's negotiating leverage along with it, allowing them to add the Ducks & Huskies at a discount.
