going to reject Colorado — ever — if they apply for membership.

Again, they would kick K-State out of the conference to make room for them.

It doesn't matter what their egomaniac commissioner says. The other members (Kansas, Oklahoma State, etc) would fire Yormark before rejecting Colorado.
