Perception is reality in a sport which is currently based on a lot of having to use it to select playoff teams.

Best thing that could have happened in hindsight is TCU playing Michigan to the wire and losing on a crazy last second TD or FG.

Then Michigan not completely embarrassing themselves against Georgia and maybe losing 37-24 or something.

Then TCU can say "see, we can hang".

TCU making a few crazy plays against Michigan while the Wolverines sh*t themselves throughout the game let the cat out of the bag.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
