It's the combo of the two, but yes it is a huge problem.

Unfortunately the toothpaste is out of the tube with regards to NIL, and in a short amount of time it will ruin the sport of college football with the exception of maybe 10-20 schools.
Mizzou is not one of those schools...the transfer portal being wide open (aka complete free agency for the highest bidder) will just expedite the sport being ruined.
I for one am taking my money and spending it on the Chiefs.
20 plus year season ticket holder at Mizzou no more. Thanks NIL and Portal...you have run me off from spending my money there. I may go to one game a year now, but that's it.
Get ready for this trend to increase rapidly over the next 5 years.
