Of superiority about him. Not really arrogance just total confidence in his being right. A justifiable attitude in his case.

And he was somewhat taken aback that the things I mentioned were almost totally unfamiliar to him. How could someone, not on his intellectual level know things that he doesn't know?

But to his great credit he seemed curious, if not interested in whether or not what I was saying is true.

He is much smarter than I, but still willing to engage in a civil conversation.
