For the Ghost of Kyiv. I never heard "thousands," just that somebody was shooting down Russian jets.

Ukraine collectively has been pretty effective. They're scrappy. They cobbled together a jet and helicopter force from wherever they could. Russia does not and has not consistently had air superiority for the supposedly number two air force in the world. What has been proven is that their air force is a different kind of number 2.
