Correct. KU checks a few boxes, but not enough to get in

Also, there's no *strategic* reason to add them unless the B1G decides to expand southwest-ward with KU, MU, OU, and Texas... but I doubt the latter 3 would leave the SEC, and I'm not sure the B1G is interested in that kind of expansion anyway.

As I mentioned in the OP, adding Oklahoma makes Missouri a more strategic partner for the SEC. We help bridge/connect them to the league.
