Baseball & Softball next door to one another with a smaller field house for volleyball/wrestling/indoor track in the area (the two lots to the south of the softball field). Unfortunately that's not an option at the moment due to the high cost of demolishing Hearnes.
Two other options:
1. The old University Heights/University Village site (west of Providence at Turner/Rollins) across from Lewis & Clark Hall, just north of Phi Kappa Psi. The apartments have been closed & mostly demolished, the land is vacant. Though I'm not sure of the topography - how much levelling would be required.
2. The block boundary of Providence/Fourth Street/Broadway/Walnut downtown. Half the lot is a surface parking lot, the other half is a credit union & a Jiffy Lube. Are those buildings/land something that could be acquired?
