Decision was also not made in a vacuum.

What we have here in fact is rule by minority - that is manifest in many areas of our nation today.

Americans by wide margins favor firearm regulations in the interest of public safety. Americans by a good margin - even Catholics - think that a woman should have access to safe healthcare in terminating a pregnancies with sensible restrictions. (Sensible restrictions would include ban on late term abortion.) THAT is what is happening - an ambitious minority inflicting its will ont he majority.
