Again, from most advertisers' perspective the most desirable demographic group is 19 to 34 year old single men. That demographic has more disposable discretionary income than any other demographic group. Note, not income, but disposable discretionary income.

The single 19 to 34 yearold single male demographic's favorite sport is college football. That's why in a space of roughly a couple of decades we gone to massive coverage of virtually every game.

The sale of media rights may well be the biggest single revenue source for most college athletic programs, note I said "athletic programs", not "football programs". No question it is for the latter.

I would suggest that the TV networks and their executives will be major players in how the future of college football in particular and college athletics in general develop. And that industry and it's leaders will play a major role in whatever happens.
