So he had some pieces in place.

I WANT NOTHING BUT GREAT STUFF for Kim English, a terrific guy for MU.

At 33 with one losing season as HC, he is not ready for this job. If he was I would be fully on board, but he is not. Gates took a losing program and in short time won his conference twice. Right now Gates in the better guy.
