Outside of the "common sense" argument that never flew with me, there is really no reason to believe this strain would not be constrained to a mask when others were. Masks either stop transmission or they don't and the strain does not really play into that unless you can show a physical difference in the size of omicron spit droplets that make them pass through a mask with great ease. And that is not the case.

You are finally where many of us have been all along. We have a virus that will do what a virus does. If you are in a high risk group, and we tend to know those groups, be careful. If not, live your life, wash your hands and know you may feel a little sick.

Glad you have found this common sense space.
