Your insurance company has to go and check your record and they don’t do that without reason. Being late on a payment, modifying the policy, changing address, something along those lines would be required on your end first.
And yes I will say I do not know exactly how every single insurance company does it, but generally they don’t have time to perpetually review everybody’s driving record that they ensure, they need to be given a reason to go look at it.
