And I honestly don't think it matters if people in KC/STL want to subscribe to watch Missouri. It will be just like ESPN does now. If you want to watch ESPN (network or streaming) you are going to have to subscribe to their streaming service and get all of it whether you want it or not. I subscribe to ESPN+ now and see tons of content I don't care about. The more content they have, the more subscribers they get and the more they can charge for it.
ESPN+ is not going to ignore a population base of Missouri. More people = more viewer and more subscribers. Giving people the option to pick one school to subscribe to will not get them more subscribers.
