rivalry with Arkansas, and it makes some degree of sense culturally.

MO is a "melting pot" and good fit for the Big 12, Big Ten, or SEC... and Mizzou just happened to end up in the best of them all. Think about how fun our basketball season will be... Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kentucky, Florida, Tennessee, Illinois... EVERY SINGLE YEAR, in some cases twice per season. And who knows, maybe we'll throw KU a bone and give them a national stage to play on.
