announce on Friday that the Pac-12 is considering expansion, but has not determined yet if any candidates provide sufficient value, and will continue to vet them.

Thus initiating a bidding war of how low can you go between the LB8 schools. And see what you can wring out of them, and see if is enough to justify expansion.
