enrollment means fewer classes, fewer teacher/professors, lower budgets, etc.

Yes, it is theoretically possible that they would do what is right and maintain standards, but we also know that is very, very highly unlikely.

Remember that when SAT/ACT scores started dropping they redid the tests to make them easier.
