should take the Star's advice and make an affirmative-action hire based on race or gender, rather than merit.
To be clear, if a woman or minority happens to be the best & most qualified applicant, then they should get the job... but that better be obvious from their resume. Impressive background, substantial experience and a track record of success at one or more FBS schools.
