or at least he did. Frankly this is the route he should have taken from the start. I think he could have had a solid career as a FB/TE type. Now? I don't know. He's quickly moving into ancient in terms of age of NFL skill position players.

You do bring up good points about the potential backfiring of something like this........such as resentful teammates if he makes the roster and fans if he doesn't.
