as a QB to make a roster as a backup.

But that doesn't mean he's entitled to have a spot. A lot of teams decided he wasn't worth the side show and drama. Can you blame them? I can't. That's the kind of stuff that can cause major problems in the locker room and constant distractions. For a backup QB? If I'm a GM/coach, nah, I'll pass.
