And his approach to coaching may be his downfall. And really, it comes down to the fact that he views coaching basketball as a vocation, a calling. It's about more than winning, and that's one reason why he won't recruit and win at the level that Will Wade, Bill Self, Bruce Pearl and others. And it may send him to an early retirement.

For now, I like having a respectable, principled guy at the helm of our program. I'd love for him to win big someday.
