By your definition. If Zo isn't doing the job that the powers that be want, he'll be gone. If not, then it would seem your beef is with the fact that those in power have a differing view of what success is in his role. D-1 coaches especially in P-5 conferences know that winning becomes the reason they either retain their jobs or are fired unless they are caught in a scandal, but if they have integrity, they don't lose sight of what the job is supposed to also entail. Zo is not unique in that, but he is a good example of being that person. If he doesn't win enough, he'll be gone; but what enough actually is might not be what you want it to be.
My guess it'll come down to money; if attendance stabalizes post covid, he runs a clean program, and makes the NCAA tourney at a 50% rate, doubt much happens. But if the program is losing money, attendance remains poor to the point of causing fiscal concerns he'll probably be fired at some point.
