As I pointed out yesterday assuming he would have won 23 if he had a full schedule is wishful thinking.

That would have required him going undefeated in those games missed when our record against non-tourney teams was actually worse than when we played good ones.

It also ignores the fact that the teams we played would have had those games as well and would have been much better prepared when they played us. Our early season wins against good teams had a lot to do with us being more experienced than them and gelling sooner.
