Why is Musselman, for example, recruiting so much better than his predecessor at Arkansas?

Why is Drink out-recruiting his predecessor at MU?

Cuonzo has no excuse to be as bad as he's been the past few years. The only plausible explanation for it is laziness, either from being over-complacent about his job security or feeling that he has enough financial security to not really care if he's fired.
