of coronaviruses vs flu viruses. That could be a huge factor in whether or not they come up with a vaccine that will work long term. On the other hand, they haven't been successful in coming up with a vaccine for any other coronaviruses. On the other other hand they've never had such a massive effort by so many drug manufacturers to come up with one.

Here's one guy who feels confident they'll come up with one:

It will take some time, but rest assured: a coronavirus vaccine is coming, and it will work.
