Police are the low-hanging fruit. Easy to identify, many don't like them already and we get to see videos of them now that they ARE actually more accountable due to body cams. Police/black relations are a symptom of a much bigger issue, and the situations that led to many blacks having negative contacts with police happened early in their life before they ever dealt with the police.
But very few black leaders want to address it, few want to hear it, and even if they did it's not a priority for the media, the educational system, blm, or anyone pushing this agenda. And unfortunately there aren't enough black men who want to talk about personal accountability (CM being an exception I believe), and instead are like the OP who will mention it in passing but spend all his energy playing the blame game. Really doesn't matter at this point who is to blame, but that is much easier than actually trying to fix it.
