this site doesn't have enough bandwidth to critique them all, I'll just pick one to start with.
We already had voter ID in every state. I got a voter ID card in 1986 when I registered at age 18 in Boone County. I have had one in whatever state I lived in and registered to vote in every year of my life since then.
The reason to have a different voter ID card now is not to have a photo on the ID. It is to disenfranchise already registered voters, and it almost is exclusively being done states with right wing governors and/or legislatures. It targets poor and minority voters, because the places picked to issue these IDs are almost exclusively in areas that are difficult to get to for people with no transportation, and almost always during hours when those people work minimum wage jobs. In that manner it is like a poll tax. I will also mention that polling places are plentiful in right wing areas and relatively nonexistent in more urban areas, meaning that if you are able to vote you have to wait 6 hours in line where the suburban or rural voter takes 5 minutes. Right wingers are seeking to make it hard for these voters to vote, because as Trump said (in a rare moment of honesty), it would be impossible for the GOP to win if turnout was high.
