The left on the other hand thinks every hospital has reefers backed up to the loading dock to store the dead.
Neither of those views are correct. The difference is that only one side is advocating that every hospital across the nation follow the same protocols.
There is no reason for hospitals anywhere to be sending doctors and nurses home when there are people in need of their services that are being denied. You try convincing someone waiting for a hip or knee replacement that their surgery is not essential.
In cities that have not been hit yet it makes sense to designate a few hospitals as corona centers and shut down other operations. Let the rest of the hospitals operate as usual, not accept corona cases but be putting a plan in place should they need to transition to a corona center on very short notice.
