So they got paid like it. No one pays big on an initial contract for a high risk hire.

No one but Mizzou.

The numbers you gave were already reflective of raises and extensions given once.

You pay bozo the clown an initial salary that lowers the risk, maybe in the 2M range and if he turns into matt rhule you can give him 4M
