If an employer simply cannot function without one employee for any length of time I question that employer's ability to stay afloat. Perhaps they should not be in business if one person is that critical.

Paternity and Maternity leave is shown to have tremendous benefits for the family unit.

You do care about the family unit right? The GOP is always crying about the unborn.
